Boot Loads of Flowers

I was on a blitz in my studio when I came across this A Day for Daisies image I had printed and coloured sometime ago (read, ages!) with my Prismacolor pencils


I added a few dots of WoS to the small flowers, and cut it with a Spellbinders Marvelous Square die.


It was mounted over the base and some dp that had been placed on the bottom half of the card. Some lace was added to cover the join, and the greeting was stamped and gold embossed.


The final detail was this Memory box butterfly, named Pippi


The butterfly was cut from a scrap that I had coloured with Gelatoes, and then painted with WoS - I told you it was my new addiction!

    Lucky you to find a previously done work that you could card up so nicely! Lovely work on the coloring, great shading & such a pretty image too. Like the way you've shaded the bottom corners, and what a perfect choice of die to enhance your work. Love the way you've added all the mats, laces & pretty butterfly to make a beautiful card!     I love your beautiful subtle color of this pretty image! The pretty lace adds such an elegant touch, and love the orange butterfly- so cool how you pulled that color out from the image. Wonderful card!
