Rocking Horses, Butterflies and Buttons

I was asked to make a couple of baby cards recently, and these are what eventuated.


My starting point was the NBUS rocking horse die from Couture Creations - I cut a pink and a blue horse, embossed them and added some WoS to the embossing.  Chose the papers and embossed with a TH embossing folder.


The sentiment was embossed in white - I masked off the other part of the stamp as I only wanted the one word greeting on these cards - the tag was then die cut, and slipped onto some ribbon.


The final details were the butterflies, cut from silver glitter card.


The process was pretty much the same for this card, but I added Tumbled Glass DI to the paper, using the direct to paper technique, and used buttons as an embellishment.
