Welcome
I made this a while ago, and as it has reached it's destination, I can now share.
I am haunted by the fact that I have used the 'cherish' die before this, and blogged that card, as somebody identified the previously unknown die for me, but I cannot find that post....
I stenciled the background using a TH stencil, Crocodile skin, and three DI inks, Shattered Glass, Broken China and Faded Denim, to give an ombre effect.
The die is a TH Hand written Love , cut in glitter card and layered over two layers of white card.
The unknown image - name has worn off the stamp - was gold embossed on white card, fussy cut and then the heart only coloured and highlighted with glossy accents.

Just fab - an extraordinary beautiful design Maxine! Happy day!
ReplyDeleteFabulous card, Maxine! The "cherish" is a nice addition!
ReplyDeleteLovely card Maxine! The cats are so adorable and I just love the red glittery cherish sentiment! The blue background is fabulous! hugs :)
ReplyDeleteCould the sentiment be a THoltz handwritten die? I've several of those that look similar to this Cherish (don't think I've got that one in the sets though!) Your sponging is perfection and shows off this pair of kitties so nicely. The red glitter of the sentiment sparkles beautifully and the font looks really nice with the whole motif. TFS & Hugs

ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I love the embossing around the cats, that's a very cool look.
ReplyDeleteThe die is a Tim Holtz thinlits and is called Handwritten Love. I know this because it's in that big NBUS basket of mine.
A fun combination and great background! Hugs, Gerrina
