Baby Boy Buggy Blues

Welcome

Firstly I would like to say a warm hello to Cindy Tempelman, who has started to follow my blog.
I cannot find if you have a blog Cindy  to be able to follow you back - please let me know if you do.
I apologise for the tardy welcome, I started this post some time ago, then left it in drafts...

I was really pleased how this card turned out - I started with an embossed panel using a magazine freebie, and  die cut the Ornate Pram by Wild Rose Studio, out of blue sparkle card.

The die cut was glued on the bottom section of the embossed area

The sentiment (by Montarga Stamps) was stamped in Memento Mediterranean Blue ink and cut with the smallest in the S/B Modern stationary card creator die, (I can't find it to link) stippling through the die before removing it, then layering it over some dark blue card.

I layered some of the dark blue card across the plain section of the embossing, and layered a light blue ribbon and a  narrow white chiffon ribbon over it, and finished it with a blow and a tiny blue pearl.

The inside was finished with a simple strip of washi tape.

  10. Cute baby card! I see that you like to use the magazine freebies too. (I'm kind of addicted to them...but the budget sometimes tells me to pass them by...
Like today when I went to the craft store...It's was difficultto pass by a magazine I would have liked to have... but I left the store with just a bit of cardstock that I needed instead.

  21. Maxine, what a monochromatic and super nice card. I like it all specially the ribbon bit. Great idea for me as I often need broader ribbon. So next time I need broader ribbon, I will use paper underneath.

    Love,
    Monica
