Tweet Anniversary Wishes

Welcome

In a recent 'round' of swap cards in a small group I belong to, we had to use the bleaching technique.  My partner not only sent a beautiful card, but she also sent some other samples that she had made, but was not particularly happy with, and this was one of them,

I coloured the image, which had been embossed with a sparkly black embossing powder, with my polychromos, keeping to a soft palette.

The sentiment was embossed in silver on a mauve snippet,  trimmed and the corners rounded with a punch, then mounted over a lemon snippet that matched the card the image was layered on.

I wanted to use the soft pink ribbon, but it was so sheer the lemon showed through and made it look apricot, so I layered it over a snippet of  white card , and wound some mauve toned bakers twine around it, including a double heart charm under the bow

A dotted line was doodled in purple ink, and the lemon panel mounted on the mauve base.

Great idea to add the white card stock under your pink ribbon - looks amazing layered with the lemon ribbon. Wonderful details with your heat embossed sentiment and those linked hearts. xx
