Flip!

Welcome
I hope you are all well and keeping 'safe'.  The virus has hit here in our corner of Down Under... a total of 11 cases in our wee nation - so far.

I was asked to make a card for a boys birthday, and one of his interests given was Judo - I have no judo stamps, so Mr G**gle was very good and provided me this free image.

All I needed to do was add a wee bit more shading in the 'nooks and crannies', and some hair and flesh colours.  I also added some shadows to ground the image.

I decided to make a horizontal card, and used a vertical greeting, gold embossed on white card and matted on black.

I added a wee strip of the patterned paper (from a Craftwise collection, Celebrations) to the inside of the card.  What appears to be the occasional black shape on the paper is actually gold!

  1. Dear Maxine

It is good to see that you are still going strong. Stay safe in these troubeling times. Norway is in almost full lockdown, so I guess I will do some more crafting :D

I really like your card, so clean, but still with a lot of interest.

    Love,
    Gunn

  9. This is so much fun! I love that you were able to find just what you needed. The sentiment looks great in gold. Oh, I hate hearing that the virus has made it your way. We live in a tiny community out in the country and a family is currently quarantined in our area. Much love and virtual hugs..because we can still do that! :)

  13. You keep isolated Maxine as after watching a segment last night our numbers are increasing each day, many deaths already and we are in a bad way. Singapore is the lowest in % of infected, it spreads like wildfire, I won't go to Mass now as I get sick every year with influenza and sure don't want it to be increased by getting anything else...in that age bracket too.xx
