Musical Birthday

Welcome

I made this card for a gent who loves his music, he plays guitar and sings for the local rest home.

The image is another complements of Mr G**gle, printed off and lightly coloured with Prisma color pencils, and cut with a Tim Holtz oval stitched die

The greeting was white embossed on black, and mounted over a white layer to accentuate it

I embossed this treble cleft (now discontinued) in clear embossing powder on the black background, and also some random notes around the rest of the card

I finished the inside with the same treble cleft, stamped in London Fog ink - I wrote in the card before I photographed it, hence the paper covering the other side of the inner.

  2. Maxine, this is a gorgeous masculine card. Great idea to use white sentiment on black cardstone and the treble cleft (inside and outside) is awesome! You always inspire me, my dear friend. Kisses!!!

  3. Sounds like the perfect card for the gentleman Maxine. We know an elderly gentleman, 96 to be exact and he goes to a care home to play the piano for in his own words "the elderly folk".
