Paw-some Parcel

Welcome

I would like to extend a special welcome to my newest follower Maria Vavouraki.  Do visit her blog and look at the incredible handiwork she does!

I started this card with an image from a MFT Christmas set, and used one of the sentiments from that set too... it appears to have been discontinued.

The image was painted with water colours and fussy cut, the sentiment heat embossed and mounted over some gold sparkle card, as was the heart embossed snippet I found on my desk...

Despite what the camera says, the cream layer is in reality, a light lemon, and the gold ribbon looked wonderful over it.

The birthday sentiment was stamped in red ink on the inside of the card.

  3. Capturing the right colours on camera is always difficult Maxine but I can imagine from your description and it's such a fun card at that.

  10. It's tough getting the colours to come out right sometimes, but I can see the gold and lemon work well together. Cute image that goes ell with the sentiment. Kate x
