Welcome
I wanted to send a friend a note recently, and as she is a self confessed 'Francophile', I came up with this card, using a very old Hero Arts set of stamps.
Firstly I sprayed some Lindy's sprays onto a glass cutting board (that I use as a non-porous surface) and smooshed the corner of the card onto them. I was most happy that some of the spray dots showed up outside the smooshed area..
Stamped and embossed the images,
Added some paper piercing and called it done.
I made this a couple of weeks ago but could not blog it until the card was received.
This was to be published a few days ago, but real life intervened and DH was hospital again, so it has been delayed.

ReplyDeleteThe way you've smooshed the background is fabulous. I've never thought of using a glass board - I usually us a large acrylic block or a piece window sheet - but a board is a fabulous idea. The embossing is gorgeous and I'll bet that your Francophile friend loved it. Thanks so much for joining us at Retro Rubber for our Anything Goes challenge.
