Welcome
I wanted to send a friend a note recently, and as she is a self confessed 'Francophile', I came up with this card, using a very old Hero Arts set of stamps.
Firstly I sprayed some Lindy's sprays onto a glass cutting board (that I use as a non-porous surface) and smooshed the corner of the card onto them. I was most happy that some of the spray dots showed up outside the smooshed area..
Stamped and embossed the images,
Added some paper piercing and called it done.
I made this a couple of weeks ago but could not blog it until the card was received.
This was to be published a few days ago, but real life intervened and DH was hospital again, so it has been delayed.

Wow... I really like this gorgeous CAS card Maxine. Very effective smooshing... I always have trouble with mine and am never quite happy with it but yours looks fabulous.

A lovely card Maxing. The smoothing looks great. I'm sorry to hear your husband is back in hospital. I do hope he will soon be much better. Hugs, Barbxx
Fabulous card! Thanks for playing along with us at HLS Water Color Challenge.
The way you've smooshed the background is fabulous. I've never thought of using a glass board - I usually us a large acrylic block or a piece window sheet - but a board is a fabulous idea. The embossing is gorgeous and I'll bet that your Francophile friend loved it. Thanks so much for joining us at Retro Rubber for our Anything Goes challenge.
LOVE the smooshing on your card Maxine. The colours are so beautiful together ... and I know what you mean about getting splatters around the outside edges ... bonus! Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up!
