Welcome
As soon as I saw that this was the verse for the week over at Word Art Wednesday, I thought of the contrast between light and dark, which is what I have based my colours on.
I started by deciding to layer the scripture on the blue glitter card - and sponging around the sentiment before I removed the die. The difference in the die sizes was larger than I wanted, so I drew around the outside of the die on the back of the blue layer, and then cut it with scissors.
The background layer is sparkly, which only really shows in this photograph. I decided to use the debossed side of the folder (which, to admit the truth, means that I put the card in the folder without really thinking and discovered the sparkly side was the debossed side.)
I then added the flowers - the centre one is a Prima one that came in white, but I sprayed it with perfect pearls for a touch of colour, and added the blue (Kaisercraft) roses either side, again contrasting light and dark colours. They were layered over some s/b leaf die cuts.
The ribbon is from a short piece of gold I have had on hand for years - I do not know where it came from., but it was soft to handle and perfect for this card. (The camera has made it look more silver than it is IRL).
Top Tip - I hold the bow to the ribbon, and ribbon to the card with glue dots.
Blue and silver rhinestones finished the card.
