This fortnight's challenge from CCC Digi Creations is Animal Antics.
I loved this image from our wonderful sponsor Oak Pond Creations.
It reminded me of a wonderful children's book that I own, Humphrey's First Christmas by Carol Heyer. Humphrey is a camel with serious attitude!!

I coloured both Humphrey and the background with chalks,

Then 'sat' him on a red (with a silver pattern) blanket to ground him.

Love the expression on his face!

I even gave the 'blanket' a fringe.

Although the photo looks as though the sky is light, IRL it is quite dark, hence the stars.
I enjoyed making this card, and hope you have enjoyed it too.

Humphrey looks as though he's a delightful guy, but might have an attitude. He made me smile. Loved his fringed blankie too...you can tell that so did Humphrey! Loved the dimension you achieved with the chalk shading. This is a truly fun card and you did a terrific job with it. TFS & Happy wkend.
The face on that camel is adorable!! Reminds me of those hump day commercials! Fantastic card.
