Welcome
I have had a wonderful last three days with loads of time in the studio, and lots of great results.
Woohoo - my mojo is back!
This card started with a stencilled panel - well, actually it is the reverse of a stencil that I placed onto a piece of white card stock and brayered over it - the stencil had been used with a spray ink, and this is the result of using the negative side of it
The stencilled layer was covered with crinkled tissue which was adhered with gel medium, and then coated with another layer of the gel medium.
I then rubbed some Inka Gold (paste) in gold gently over it to 'catch' in, and highlight, the raised wrinkles in the tissue.
The sentiment panel was a SB label cut in gold paper and the greeting embossed in red.
This was then layered over a SB die cut made from gold DCWV metallic card.
The flowers were punched with Stampin' Up mini punches in the two gold papers, and layered before a red rhinestone was added.
The lace and the ribbon were the finishing touch.
I really enjoyed making this card, playing with the textures and materials, and with the final result.

The Journey is the Start
A really lovely mixed media card Maxine. The colours and textures are awesome.
This is truly fabulous! I'm very interested in seeing your tissue over the stenciling, because I have scrap tissue at the desk just waiting to try this! (well one day I'll get rountoit! More inspired to do so after seeing this beauty). The lattice looks so pretty with the effects you've given it. The center S/B die looked very metallic too, like a belt buckle. This is a terrific card, Maxine. Well done!!! TFS & Hugs
Oooh this is beautiful Maxine!!! LOVE the way you used the negative of your stencil for your bg, and the gold is a real wow factor on this card! Lovely!!!
Love the way you did that background and the gold just SHINES! So beautiful!!!
Good to finally be back home but it's a bit overwhelming trying to catch up on everything.
