Peony Sympathy

Welcome

A friend recently lost her husband when he succumbed to cancer after an incredible fight.
This was the card I made for her.

The image and sentiments on the front of the card and envelope are all from Sweet'n'Sassy Stamps

The image was stamped in London Fog and clear embossed, as were the two small sentiments.
The background panel was a 'mop up' sheet with a few gold splats on it as well as the pinks

The flower was watercoloured, using watercolour crayons, then detailed with polychromo pencils

Such a beautiful card both inside and out. I love peonies and yu have coloured this one beautifully. I think I should use London Fog more than I do at the moment, I always used to use it for faces and figures. It is such a lovely light colour and so much more attune to the eye than black.
Blessings, Neet xx

Maxine, you've created a beautiful, meaningful sympathy card for your friend. Peonies are one my favorites and you have done a good job coloring it. The message and BIble verse inside the card speaks comfort to her as she grieves her husbands passing. Smiles, Kathy
