Welcome, and thanks for visiting.
I have deliberately punned the title of this post - I was asked to make a card (a commission) for a couple who are being ordained (commissioned) into positions of ministry in their church.
I chose to make a very simple card in gold and white with a touch of red.
I love this scripture, and felt it appropriate for the occasion. The print was gold embossed, and the edge was also gold embossed before I mounted the panel over a layer of red/gold paper that I was given in a 'scrap-pack'.
The panel was mounted over the ribbon with foam tape to give some dimension.
The inside was decorated with a strip of washi tape and this sentiment stamped in gold ink.

Maxine this is beautiful sweetie. Love how the matting makes this card pop, but the star of this show really truly is the sentiment. So amazing the joy such a sentiment can bring. Thanks for blessing us with it at Clearly iStamp challenge #64. Hugs.
I love how the sentiment hangs on the ribbon, almost like an award.
