Paper and Punched Flowers

Welcome

I made this card for a friend with Macular Degeneration, which means that for her to be able to 'see' the card, she needs strong contrasts in colour intensities.

I die cut the flowers in the dark green panel using one of the dies from the Classic Postage Stamp Edgeabilities, cutting it three times, then overlaid the green onto yellow to give the contrast.

The sentiment is one of my original stamps, and I gold embossed it, then filled it in with a gold pen.

The flowers I gathered from assorted sets, the base one was coloured with ink, and the brad was overlaid with gold liquid pearls.  The finishing detail was a wee snippet of gold ribbon peeping from under the flowers.

The completed panel was mounted onto a white base, which I had sponged the edges of with Dried Marigold distress ink.
