This is an other card inspired by 'stuff' on my desk..... the stuff being the die cut, which is what I basically started with - the couple that I made the card for are very 'minimalist' in their home, so I wanted this card to reflect their tastes.

The die cut was one from another project that I discarded. It was glued onto gold paper, and then the edges trimmed back to the die cut.

The sentiment was gold embossed, which did obliterate some of the detail, unfortunately, in the very detailed 'Happy' stamp.

The wee decal is one that I have not used before, and it is part of a set from the now defunct Layers of Color firm. Oh how I loved their stamps, and collected them, now to use the ones that are sitting there begging to be inked up!

I was very pleased with this card when I finished it.
I do not know why the colours change in the photographs, but the true colour os the bright red, not the pink tones.

This is GORGEOUS, Maxine. I sure wish I could have a sit down session with you to learn how on earth you always get your stamped embossing to look SO perfect. I will attempt it six times, mess hem all up, and give up. You nail it every time. Just beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing your art with us.
