Welcome
After finishing my previous card, I had the red coloured die cuts left,
and needless to say I wanted to use them, so this card is the outcome
Where the other card tended more towards CAS, this one is fussy and fancy. I cut some leaves from a scrap of plain white card and water coloured them, and mounted them with the roses on the doily, which was cut from a scrap of cream card with edges sponged with some Worn Lipstick DI
The sentiment was stamped and white embossed on a maroon scrap, and the edges were also white embossed.
The patterned paper in the background is another scrap from my 'promise box', and was originally wrapping paper - it was a tad narrow for the card, so I used a snippet of lace to 'extend' it.
Although totally different to the original card, I am equally happy with it.

Hi Maxine!
Another lovely card. I've always loved the swirled roses, and I actually have a swirled flower stamp that I forget to use. I also love the beautiful lace trim you added. Your cards always make me smile. Thanks for sharing this lovely creation in the challenge at Word Art Wednesday. I hope that your week is going really well. God bless you, my friend.

Such stunning details here Maxine. The die cut roses looks beautiful, and loving the die cut doily! Beautiful creation!
So pretty once again. I'm loving that die Maxine. The addition of the lace makes it look so elegant and dainty.

Oh! I really like this. The rose with the doily is quite stunning.
The "cheater method" to be able to heat emboss with dye ink is to first ink your stamp with Versamark ink, then immediately ink with your colored dye ink. You stamp your images, toss the powder on and then heat emboss. You have to do it fairly quickly but not like in a ridiculous rush. The Versamark mixed with the dye ink makes it sticky enough to powder to stick long enough to heat emboss it. You have to be sure to wash your stamp off (and dry it) before doing another image because you have colored ink on it and don't want to muddy that back into your Versamark pad.
The doily is so lovely with that pretty rose adorning it. Thank you so very much for posting your very creative and inspiring art with us this week at Word Art Wednesday in our 218th - FF AG challenge. I pray Blessings for you and your family; stay creative and be happy. Carole

That lace is so pretty, complimenting this design!
What a bonus that you had the diecuts left from the pretty negative roses card. THey look just grand on this lovely doily and the stripe background. Wasn't sure if you created this look from bits of the paper or it was the pattern. Sure looks nice though. The lace was a brilliant way to extend as well as coordinating with the doily! Do you know about the Snippets Playground, when you use leftover bits? (Snippets!). Please check it out next time you use some snippets. TFS & Hugs
