Welcome
This card was made using this beautiful butterfly digi which was a freebie from Ginny over at Maxam Made Studio. Have a look around as Ginny is so generous in sharing digi images.
After printing it, I cut the panel with room for a stamped and silver embossed sentiment at the top, and some Bakers Twine at the base
The edges of the image panel were also silver embossed
The dragonflies were then coloured with Prismacolor pencils and blended with an alcohol pen
and given some sparkle with a good coating of Wink of Stella (clear).
The finished panel was mounted onto frayed burlap which was already mounted onto the card base.
I was really pleased with this card - it came together without fighting me, and did so quite quickly.

Wonderful card- love the shimmer, and the burlap added is a wonderful texture!
Oh Maxine, this is beyond gorgeous! You know I love me some burlap! :) When dad passed, I saw dragonflies EVERYWHERE -and I kept thinking it was a sign. They are such beautiful creatures, often misunderstood (my daughters are terrified of them and swat them like bees, much to my horror!) but mysterious and stunning in my eyes. Sarah is quite lucky :) This is a beauty!
Fabulous card, love the colors and shimmer! Thank you for joining us at Let's Craft & Create challenge. We hope to see you again.

Hi there,
These dragon flies look so shiny and sparkly with all that shiny treatment. I think Wink of Stella is God's gift to cardmaking kind (mankind, lol). You are so lucky to be able to try out so many techniques. The Prisma and alcohol effect look awesome. And ofcourse not to forget the burlap for it's texture and character.
Love,
Monica
