Welcome
I prevented blogger from swallowing my signature this time, but it was another learning curve.
I guess there are many of us in blog-land on the same trajectory!
At Word Art Wednesday , Hello Bluebird, are sponsoring the prize for this new challenge
My card this week features the wonderful scripture that is available as a freebie on the Word Art Wednesday website, from Psalm 77.
I started with a background of sponged DIs - Spiced Marmalade, Dried Marigold and Peeled Paint, which turned a blue shade over the Dried Marigold...
The verse was die cut with a Spellbinders oval die, layered over the matching scalloped die, and liberally sponged with Spiced Marmalade
That panel was then stenciled with black ink - an inspiration from Gina K. - using a STAMPlorations stencil. The edges on this panel, and the card base were all run over the Spiced Marmalade ink pad.
The wee flowers are from Rosie's Crafts, and I swiped them with the brush I used in the Spiced Marmalade ink, just to add a touch of colour to the edges of the petals.
I used a trimming from the stenciled panel for the inside

Absolutely beautiful verse and stunning card with the most gorgeous colours. xx
Blogger is becoming a total nightmare Maxine, I tried the new one for a month then reverted ti the old as there are just too many glitches on the new. But I fear soon we will have the choice taken out of our hands.
I love this card, the composition is so well thought out and the subtle blend of colours a delight.

Yes, blogger is being a stinker! lol Wow, this is an amazing card Maxine! I love the scripture sentiment, but what I really love is that background! It is so striking and vibrant. The colors are so beautiful and the black stenciling just makes the colors pop even more. Love that you put color on the flowers too, makes them stand out as well. Well done! Hugs, Brenda
This a really nicely done card. I like the colors, and that verse is just perfect for right now.

I love those colours together and often use something similar. I like using the orangey shades of DI's to brighten up the colours I use. They look particularly good with the stencil you have used and the scripture is perfect. What a great freebie.
Blessings, Neet xx
