Baby Thank You Cards

Greetings to you all - thank you for coming to visit :-)


While I have been with DD awaiting the birth of her first child, I have been busy making some thank you cards for her - using some paper which had been wrapped around a gift given to her.

I spent an afternoon cutting out the images, and then after we wee bit of experimentation decided to 'ground' them on the card with a wee bit of dark grey chalk, and add a wee bit more dimension by using some blue chalk for a wee bit of 'sky'.


I tried to place the images so they appeared to to be looking at the sentiment, which was stamped with Brilliance Graphite ink... but not all of them worked that way.  The base card had a linen to texture to it, which added interest to the card.

These are small cards, approx 105mm by 75mm (4.1" x 3") to fit an a standard letter envelope.
