Pond Sympathy

Welcome

That nasty bug landed me in hospital for the week last week, and it must have left me muddled as I have just prepared a blog post with the wrong card...

This card was made for the September challenge at We Love Stamping, where the theme is anything goes, with an option of trees or leaves - I have chosen trees...
I do like to have some sympathy cards 'on hand', and this is made for that stash

The stamp is from Divinity Designs, it is an old set, that I regularly use.

The image was stamped with London Fog ink and coloured with watercolour pencils

This is the second card that I made using the 'double' spotlight technique - the other card is here

The sentiment was silver embossed, and that panel mounted on a soft blue card

A piece of washi tape finished the inside

Such a peaceful scene Maxine and absolutely perfect for occasions, always difficult ones to make.

Rest and recover and as I said before, don't try to push things.

Hi Maxine, sorry to hear you have been stuck in hospital with the virus, as we live in a tourist area, we are still being encouraged to wear masks by Drs, physios etc. So we don't share with other who are currently unwell.. Love the soft colours on your card, not one I tend to keep in my stash of cards. Have a wonderful week... Megan
p.s. we are expecting temps up to 30C this week, so we'll be sending you warmer weather...
