Welcome
I love how this masculine card turned out.
I started by using the letter press technique to emboss the main panel with the Spellbinders
I then stamped this image from the SU Lovely As A Tree set, having used three inks on it to give some variations of colour to it. The edges were sponged and it was mounted over hessian ribbon to add to the texture.
The sentiment was embossed with real green ep, on a smooth part of the panel
The finishing detail was the knotted ribbon threaded behind the image panel.

This is beautiful! I adore the fun burlap texture--and the dry embossed background is fab, too! Thank you so much for joining us at Great Impressions! HUGS! :) Mynn xx
The brown ribbon might represent a tree trunk. The tree is quite nicely done with the three inks. Thank you so much for taking time to post your very creative art with us this week at Word Art Wednesday, on our 188th Challenge. We appreciate you very much.
Blessings, Carole
I love it too Maxine! I've been seeing so many use the cogs lately and I'm loving them. Great embossing and of course the tree image is just magnificent! Great card for a guy!

Brilliant design. Would never have thought of combining a 'gear motif' with this lovely tree...but this is really an awesome look with the way you've done the design. Liked the letterpress look with that background color you selected. The burlap combines so well with the rusticity of the debossing & the bkground color, and is a perfect look with that wonderfully shaded tree. Well done. Hope you will have a super week. TFS & Hugs
Fabulous card .... love all the different textures. Thank you for joining in with the Craft Stamper challenge .... good luck! Linda xx
I love it, too, Maxine! That tree was one of my very first stamp and it's still my favorite tree even though (cough) trees have been added to my stash over the years! This is an awesome masculine card design!! Hugs, Darnell
