These are some more of the serendipity squares that I made, and this time I used them as part of a larger block, and again I used a purple backing.
I wanted a focal point, and went for the small scripture stamp, and gold embossed the wording, cut it with a Spellbinders die, and layered it onto gold paper. I shaped the gold paper by running a pencil around the outside of the die and fussy cut it.
It still looked very plain, so added the layered, punched flowers and the bling.
The sentiment was gold embossed on the bottom of the purple layer, and two more flowers added.
I then matted the purple panel onto green, and then cream card, sponging the cream card with Bundled Sage ink.
The differing colours are because some of the photos were taken in natural light ( the second photo) and the others under an artificial light, which gave the true colour.
