A Golden Tree

Welcome

This is the first Christmas card I have made this year and I will be teaching it at my class this week

The red background was embossed with a spellbinders folder

The sentiment is from a Unity Stamps set Love, joy, Peace (now retired).  I masked off the final line of the sentiment as 'happy holidays' is not used as a Christmas greeting in New Zealand.

The tree image from the same set was stamped in Gold Delicata ink - here you can see the sheen it gives, Both the image and sentiment were layered on dark green card before being mounted on the red.

A gold edged ribbon and bow were attached,

and I randomly applied gold kindy glitz to some of the embossing on the red panel.

  5. Wow Maxine. I'd be panicking if I was only just making my first Christmas card of the year. But this is great. I love the sentiment panel. I won't use Happy Holidays either. Have fun sharing it at your class. Kate x
