We Are No Evil Owls

 Welcome.

Our sponsor is the lovely Aurora Wings

I chose to use this "We Are No Evil" image - love these owls!

I started by printing the image onto Cryogenic paper, which has a very subtle sparkle that shows through whatever medium you colour with - in this case my   prismacolour pencils.

To enhance the sparkle/glitter theme I then mounted them over a part sheet of glitter card, and used Stickles on the leaves.

I repeated the glitter card and corrugated layer on the foot of the easel card.

The buttons were coloured with silver mixative (alcohol ink), and the edges of the off white base sponged with green inks.  I used two inks to get the shade I wanted.

Oh this IS so cute! I love Cryogenic paper, with that subtle sparkle. Forget to use it so thanks for reminding me. (for one thing my printer won't feed it, so doesn't work if I'm doing a digi..but it loves copic markers). Also I like your color scheme and the corrugated paper is just so dimensional & textured with these cute little wise owls. TFS & Happy Sunday. Hugs
