Model T and Motion

Welcome,
and a very special welcome to Ardyth of  MASKerade, and Sheryl Scholte. I am not sure if Sheryl has a blog or not, blogger won't tell me!  Please let me know if you do have a blog Sheryl.
EDIT: Sheryl has responded and her blog is here.
Please visit these ladies as they both do beautiful work.

I needed a masculine card and started with a stamp called Motion by Stamp-it - I am not sure if the stamp is still current - I bought it second hand.  I used Espresso ink to randomly stamp it over the sheet that became the background.

The Model T was embossed in Bronze on a snippet of white card - that stamp is from KiwiStamping.
The embossed image was mounted over a gold scalloped square, and then onto the back ground after adding two gold washi tape stripes to the corner.

The sentiment was cut out of the background using a S/B die, It was then cut from the gold paper under the image, and then some white card to raise it up, before popping back into the negative space.
Because the background is so busy, it had a very subtle effect.
The base of the card is some Chrome yellow cardstock, something I don't use much off, but it really bought the whole front panel to life.

The inside was finished with a piece of the gold sparkle Washi.

Love the 'busy' background, and the raised effective is indeed so subtle a detail, but also eyecatching, with the other bling of the embossed items. The old car looks splendid embossed with the bronze. Also loved the sparkle of the angled washi tape. Lots of terrific details on this masculine card. I know Ardyth, but I'll check out the link for your other new friend. TFS & Hugs
