Welcome
This card is a combination of two projects I made for the 30 Day Colouring Challenge
run by Kathy Racoonson.
The background was made with Brushos - I love this result!
The inlaid die cut is called Prim Poppies - a Memory Box Die, - cut in white card and coloured with Prismacolor pencils
The greeting was stamped in orange ink and clear embossed, then die cut using a S/B Labels die.
I ran one of the pencils used to colour the poppy around the edge of the die cut, and also the edge of the white card base.
The ribbon is chiffon, and did not look very nice directly over the blue, so I adhered two layers of it over a strip of white card, to get the result I was wanting.
I layered the blue panel over some lime green before adhering it to the white base and adding some clear rhinestones.
I finished the inside with another layer of card, around which I had wrapped two layers of ribbon, then outlined it with pencil.
On a personal note - I have come to the conclusion after nearly three years of high stress in my life that I am approaching burn out, so I am taking time out, and will not be blogging much over the next 4-6 weeks - just my DT cards - or visiting your blogs. 😢
It has taken me a while to acknowledge this, and the need to lie low and care for myself is real, so please bear with me, and I will be back in a month or so.

Hi Maxine. I LOVE the gorgeous brushos background. The shades of blue as so vibrant and beautiful. And your orange poppies and sentiment banner look amazing over top. I do love blue and orange cards!
I totally understand about burn out. Take care of yourself Maxine. Have a good rest and come back when you are feeling up to it. xx
Oh, Maxine! As always, very beautiful creation. Leaving you with God's Word in 1 John 2:15-17 which says, "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions—is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever." Have a blessed and wonderful week.

Beautiful!!! Take care of yourself Maxine!!!
Remember I am working backwards in your blog so I have finally realised that you decided to take some time out before you burnt out. Good thinking! Hope by the time my comment is published you are feeling much much better.
When I first saw this card I thought the background was alcohol inks but I see it is Brusho's that you have used - a lovely effect and a great contrast for the diecut flowers. A beautiful card Maxine.
Blessings, Neet xx
I love your background too, Maxine. So bright and refreshing. Super job.
