Cross Stitched Christmas

Welcome

Just a quick post today, Christmas Eve, to wish you all a wonderful, peaceful and joy-filled Christmas

I made this card for a swap group I am part of, and the theme was to use stitching on a card.

I stitched the tree on some red even weave fabric using cream thread, making up the pattern as I went.

This was mounted on some textured cream card (the photo has whitened it) that I embossed stitching around the edge of.
The sentiment stamp is a magazine freebie, embossed in gold.
The feature panel was then mounted over plain red card.

I am linking this to:

(My inspiration was the red and white of the wrapper)

Hi Maxine,

First of all, thank you for your kind words regarding fundraising. It means so much to me.

Your card is FABULOUS and how clever that you cross-stitched it without a pattern. Love its simplicity and charm.

Belated Merry Christmas,

Monica
