Silver Butterflies and Scripture

Welcome

This week a new challenge starts at Word Art Wednesday, and our sponsor for this challenge is

Who is not only sponsoring the challenge with a $50 voucher for the winner, but is also giving a discount of 25% off everything - use the code 25Off

As the scripture is quite long, I decided to keep the card simple, and started by matching up various shades of card with the colours in the paper (which was from a very cheap pack in a Dollar Shop!)

I decided to add some interest by offsetting the layers behind the scripture, then added some butterflies cut from a piece of silver foil that was the seal on some cream cheese.

I finished the inside of the card with a narrow strip from the patterned paper that I ran through a crimper.

All the layers of card, and the patterned paper, were swiped over a C.P. ink pad, Queen for a Day.

So happy to see you blog. Love your simple and classy creation which just goes to prove that money cannot buy class but a dollar shop can. Lol.

I had a big smile on my face when I read that the butterflies were made from a cream cheese foil cover. They look stunning.

Love,
Monica
