Three Trees

Welcome

I am back - but slowly - the move went amazingly well - great small town help and all the 'big stuff' was moved by 1:30 p.m.  Now it's the sorting and culling as I become accustomed to living 'small'.
The internet did not get established until late last week, and with the distraction of unpacking, I have not been on line much at all - hence why this published itself before I could write it up - it was scheduled, but not finished.  Oops... my apologies

Out theme this month at We Love Stamping is Winter Foliage and Flowers - and this is solely foliage!

The green base was my starting point, and I stamped it with Versamark, using a very detailed, and large wreath stamp, then brushed over Kiwi perfect Pearls, which turned out more gold than green, but beautifully sparkly

The three trees are from Uniko, stamped and embossed onto some card that I had 'played' on months ago with watercolour paints and mica sprays - the sparkle continues.

They were trimmed out and mounted on a small embossed panel of white card - the embossing was quite 'fine' and did not show up in the photo, but it was a repeat pattern of leaf shapes.
This panel was edged with gold embossing, and the wee 'stars' on top of the trees were stamped with Delicata Gold ink.

The sentiment came from the same set, and was gold embossed directly onto the base, which was also edged with gold embossing

I stamped the wreath on opposing corners of the inside panel, and also brushed them with the
'kiwi' perfect pearls.

I decorated the envelope with three stamped trees, first in green and then gold, masking as I went to place them behind one another

Maxine, welcome to your new home! I'm glad the move went smoothly. Living small may have some challenges (culling is painful) but you'll surely be very happy in your new home.

Your trees on this card are so pretty. What a fun card!

Lovely sparkly trees Maxine - so pretty. I am pleased to read the shift went well & you are getting settled. Take your time - the worst part is over with now. My friends daughter is moving on the 23rd December so there will be no Christmas decorating for her this year! x0x

I was not expecting to see you before Christmas was over and done with - New Year maybe. How lovely to hear from you and to know you are settled. Lovely that you had help but now the real bit starts, culling! We had a new suite delivered today so last week in bits and bobs I set to and did some culling, not craft though, sorry. That is a mammoth task that is waiting to happen.
Love the card, thme trees look very effective and so bright and sparkly. Hope you continue in your new home making many a card and enjoying your new life surrounded by family. Sounds perfect!
Blessings, Neet xx
