Quilted Butterflies

Welcome
I have prepared this card as one of the ones I will teach at my card class this week.  I have CASE'D (copied and changed elements) it from Michelle Pearson at Inspiration Blooms, where she shared a tutorial on this technique.

The changes are my colour scheme,

The addition of some bling (rather than candi)  and a different sentiment,

and as can be seen here, I painted an iridescent medium over the quilted layer (before cutting the butterflies out).

Rather than 'doodle' around the central panel, I sponged all the layers, and the edges of the butterflies with Victorian Velvet DI.

  3. The soft peace and harmony throughout the card makes it so soothing to the soul. The angles of the beautifully paper quilted butterflies add another dimension of peaceful beauty to this wonderful card Maxine. Praying you have a happy day filled with smiles and sunshine. Thank you for joining our 149th challenge at Word Art Wednesday.
