All You Need is Love.....

Welcome

My apologies if you now have that Beatles song running around your head :-)

I was asked to make some Engagement and Wedding cards for the shop I sell my cards in, and this card does double duty!!

I have stamped this using elements from the Love Chapter set of stamps now sold  by Penny Black (My set is an original, first designed and sold by Layers of Color)

I stamped the main element then cut it with a (S/B)  Decorative Labels 1 die, and sponged it with Barn Door DI.

I then took the long stamp in the set and just inked part of it, and stamped two of the corners of the main panel with it.

When assembling the card I layered the focal panel over a piece of ribbon using foam dots for some dimension, then onto the next layer. That panel then had the edges sponged with the DI before it was  layered over the card base.

Awesome look, very creative use of this wonderfully detailed Love stamp. Brilliant to think out-of-the box to use in such fashion, as it is very stunning on the pretty die shape. The red DI sponging looks fantastic. Love the ribbon banner - a great presentation altogether. TFS & Blessings.

Hey there friend...This is a bit delayed but had to tell you how wonderful this project is and love the die-cuts as well as the stamped script for the corners/borders are. I also am grateful for your awesome comments left in my projects. You're the best! So blessed you joined our last Challenge and hope you join us again in our current Challenge at Word Art Wednesday. Leaving you with the encouragement only the Word of God can provide in James 1:12 which tells us, "Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him." Have a blessed weekend.
