Decoupage Bunny

Welcome

Firstly I would like to welcome my newest follower Barb, from
Barb's Farway Cards.  Please pop over and visit, her work is wonderful.

This card is the result of a lack of inspiration at one point.
I had been fossicking around my untidy desk at the time and came across a book of decoupage images and paper that had come with a (now unknown) magazine a long time ago, so I decided to 'have a go' at it.

All the layers were numbered, so cutting them out and then layering them was not too arduous ...

I finished off the base panel with some pink flatback pearls from my stash, and a some WoS on the rose and his tie.

The backing paper was from the 'kit'  so co-ordinated beautifully.
The ribbon was from my stash, and the bow attached with a glue dot.
The sentiment was cut with a S/B die with a snippet of card the same colour as the card base, and layered over two other cuts of white, which I also had sponged the edges of with pink ink.

I am linking this to:

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog - may your day be blessed.

Gorgeous card, dear Maxine, do love this ultra cute image, great decoupage. ❤❤❤
I would have scanned it to make it into a digi as it makes a great card. I often do that with paper or images that I really like.
Great additions to create a beautful card dear friend, I pray you win those pencils, too, God willing, over at Darnells 😊
Thanks for sharing your inspiration,

Thank goodness for these crafting aids to use during those times when we are feeling less mojo'd, eh? Nothing wrong with it, especially when the results are a card as darling as this! I love this darling bunny, Maxine, and it's sure to bring a big smile to the recipient! Thank you so much for playing in my NBUS Challenge #8! Hugs, Darnell

He's just so sweet. This looks like an LOTV image, which I love. And he looks just right at home and perfectly adorable atop the kraft, with his pretty bright red ribbon trimming. I'm glad you found him! TFS, Hugs & BLessings.
