A Boy on His Bike

Welcome

I am sharing this card I made earlier in the year - it came together very quickly, and I love the final 'look' of it.

I started by stamping the background stamp in Memento London Fog ink - the stamp is a very old, second hand stamp that is great for backgrounds.   It is wood  mounted and I had to guess a bit on the placement, but I was happy with the result.

The featured stamp is another old one, from Kiwistamping, who have now gone out of business.
It was stamped in Espresso ink, and coloured with Prisma Colour pencils.

The image  panel had the edges distressed and then sponged with the espresso ink.
The sentiment (a magazine freebie that is getting a lot of use) was embossed with copper ep, hand cut into a banner and I also sponged the edges.
The completed panel was mounted over a deep red card base (card from a local printer)

The inside was finished with some copper sparkle tape.
