Layered Bookmark

Welcome

Today is the start of another challenge over at Word Art Wednesday, and as part of the Design Team, I have created a book mark with the free scripture that is available on the site.

As soon as I saw how the scripture was crafted I thought 'bookmark' - I did manipulate it a wee bit before printing, but this size is wonderful for a Bible

I cut the tops with  Paper Rose tag dies, and rounded the bottom corners with a punch, swiping the edges over a Delicata Golden Glitz ink pad

The scripture panel was embossed with a cross stitched border  from Lawn Fawn

I was looking for a long narrow piece in my off-cuts box, and also found this piece of florist wrap, that I popped between the layers
The top ribbons were stapled on and reflect the colours used.

Looks so elegant how the fabrick overlaps the tag as a background; perfect contrast with the clean text! Hugs, Gerrina

Oh this is just lovely. I usually make my younger sister bookmarks to go in her birthday card, I somehow forgot this year. She is battling Leukemia and would appreciate this sentiment.

Chriss
