B & W Sympathy??

Welcome
Today we start another challenge over at Word Art Wednesday, and our lovely sponsor is Stamp Simply, and they are generously giving either two stamp sets, or a stamp and die set of the winners choice!!
Psst - Stamp Simply have a fabulous new website too!!

As usual our scripture for the week is available free on the website, and was designed for us by the lovely Karen Murray

This card was made using just this weeks scripture - I will be sharing a card I made with a set from Stamp Simply tomorrow.

As soon as I saw the scripture I knew I wanted to cut it with a circle die - that, combined with finding this embossed doily on my desk, started me on the journey to this card

I die cut the scripture, and then it layered over a a lacy circle die cut in black, and secured it in the centre of the embossed doily.

This panel was then layered over black card, creating a narrow boarder, then onto the white card base.

I can see why you went with a circle for this particular scripture. It works perfectly. I love the clean and simple approach you have taken with this card. Classical!

Great texture and beautifuk CAS card! Hope you are well? Here it is 28 degrees and sunny... No flooding here; we don't live near one of the big rivers... But so much mud and water in the south of the Netherlands and parts of Belgium and Germany...

Elegantly made sympathy card, Maxine. Wounds can be emotional ones that tear at our soul. Another beautifully made card.

This is a very elegant and serene sympathy card Maxine! First off, loving that scripture, so went and nabbed it. Love how you took a doily and embossed it into the card. The lacy die is perfect for this scripture to sit on top of. And lastly, I am so loving the black/white color combo. Hugs, Brenda

I can see why you went 'round' with the scripture. It fits perfectly and I love how you used the doily around it. Such a lovely card.
