Welcome once again
Thank you for taking the time to visit.
In my small, New Zealand swap group we were challenged to use the bokeh technique on our cards this month - not a technique I had used before.
The inks I used for the background of the card are from the Altenew Shades of Purple pack, I used the Deep Iris, Lavender Fields and Soft Lilac, and the white is Memento Moonlight White.
The flower is from Crafty individuals and simply entitled Flower! I stamped it on the background, then on another piece of white card and coloured it using various Polychromo coloured pencils, fussy cut it and glued it over the image on the card base.
The greeting is a magazine freebie, gold embossed.
The gold layering is chocolate wrapper over card, then trimmed to fit where I wanted the pieces.
The chocolates come wrapped in gold in a wee brown 'cup'. I was making the most of the gift :)
The inside was finished with a thin strip of gold washi

The bokeh technique looks fabulous and what pretty colours. The contemporary flower against it looks so very beautiful and I love the pop of gold too Maxine x. A real stunner x.
Very nice. I like the bokeh efect and your colours are so good. The flower is a Rudbekkia which I used to grow in my garden in UK. I lke all the daisy-type flowers. A lovely card. Kate x

Maxine: You've made a gorgeous card! I've not heard of a Bokeh technique. I'll have to learn about that. The card is stunning!
Oh wow Maxime; this looks great! It reminds me that i have to use those stamps again.. Hugs, Gerrina
Maxine, this is so pretty! I love the flower you used... and the many gorgeous details, too.
Stunning. I love it.
I haven't done the bokeh technique in quite a while, but I am sure loving your bokeh card Maxine! First off, the lavender and gold are so pretty together, I would have never thought to put those two colors together. Secondly, there you go again using gold chocolate paper-I just love that! Love your bokeh bubbles and love your flower. You have colored it so beautifully with your pencils. Well done, this card is gorgeous! Hugs, Brenda
So beautiful Maxine. The colours are so pretty. My card has not made it's way to the recipient..nearly two weeks... so might have to try using these colours and send another one.
