Silver Sympathy

Welcome

I was asked to make a sympathy card recently, and this is the outcome.

The background was blended using Distress inks, then splattered with water to add some interest

The wee jewelled cross sticker was one gifted to me some time ago, and I came across it recently and put it on my desk - and today was the day I used it - it is by Recollections.  It fitted perfectly in the aperture, which was cut using a S/B classic oval

The sentiment (by Divinity Designs) was silver embossed,

As were the edges of the base and top layer, which was attached using foam tape for some subtle dimension

I added some siver washi tape to the inside panel to finish

Happy Christmas, and thanks so very much for all your kind encouragement in comments in 2022. Very much appreciated.

I'm just back from a swim and walk at jetty beach life is so hard in summery Oz. But to make up for Christmas chocky indulgence I am out and pulling weeds next 😆😂😂
Plenty of them!
Thanks for sharing, and may God bless you and keep you and all whom you love safe and well.

Very elegant and suitable for purpose, thanks for sharing with us at Allsorts although afraid not eligible at Stamping Sensations as you indicate the focal element is a sticker not stamped.

Hi Maxine:
This is so pretty. I often forget to use all my washi tape, but I love the idea of running it up the inside of the card to decorate it a bit. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful creativity with us at Word Art Wednesday.
Blessings,
Karen
