Welcome
It's time to introduce the new challenge at We Love Stamping where the challenge is:
Anything stamped, with an option of (real) birds or animals.
I chose to use a bird image from the set A Lot of Birds from Art By Marlene.
It was stamped and heat embossed with Silver Hologram ep, then painted with mica paints , before it was fussy cut.
The sentiment, a very old Hero Arts stamp, was stamped on a snippet of card I had randomly painted with the same paints, and then silver embossed.
As you can see in the photo below, the result has lots of sparkle and shimmer.
The images were adhered to a piece of blue bubble background paper, and three crystal dew drops added to the opposing corners, and the edges run over a Catherine Pooler ink pad, Aquatini, before being mounted onto a pale blue base, also edged with the same ink.

The silver EP gives a really rich feel Maxine and I can visualise how lovely the sparkle is from the mica paints.

Very pretty with the shimmer and a lovely background.
I bet this card looks so special in real life with that wonderful shine from the embossing. It looks fabulous on the bubble background xx
I love the colours you've used for the background and on the bird. I also love that you have the bird grasping on to the sentiment in mid flight. Thank you for sharing and for taking part in the polkadoodles digi choosday challenge. Happy Crafting! Mel x

Maxine, you never fail to impress. Every single time I come to your blog I see a masterpiece and this time is no exception. Your birthday card looks fabulous!
I remembered how you stamp the inside of the card and the envelope with something from the main image and I did it - at last! I was so chuffed. Thank you for the idea which I see you have employed again here. I do admire your cards and the way you finish them off with that extra little bit of "special".
This is a lovely bird by Marlene, `I love her chubby figures and this chubby bird is beautiful. Love the sparkly bits you did. The recipient will love it.
Blessings, Neet xx

Oh Maxine, I love this card! The background is so fun and the perfect looking sky for your amazing bird! I love how you made your bird hold the sentiment but what I really love is how beautiful, shimmery and sparkly your bird is colored! As well as the sign too. Love this! Hugs, Brenda
