In Honour of the Coronation

Welcome
Thank you for popping to visit - I appreciate it.

This month's theme for our small New Zealand swap group was 'crowns', in recognition of the Coronation of King Charles the 3rd.

I started by randomly stamping crowns from three different Layers of Color (now defunct) stamp sets in Delicata Golden Glitz ink

The die cut is a Hero Arts one, and I die cut it once from gold card, three times from white and once from black.  I made the black layer the base layer, and off set it just a tad.
The crown was cut from glitter card from an old Spellbinders die and set above the l's of the hello

The inside was decorated with gold tape ,

And the envelope stamped with all three crowns down one side.

What a fun card in recognition of the Coronation! I love your stamped crown background, you got to love the shimmer and shine of Delicata ink. Love your stack sentiment with the off set black shadow, it really makes it stand out! The crown is perfectly placed as well. Your side is equally beautiful as is the envelope. Hugs, Brenda

I am loving that shiny gold and love how you have used those crown stamps. The hint of black peaking out behind the sentiment is a brilliant way to add interest too xx

Such nice clean work putting the crowns on the base. My favorite part is how you offset the black hello slightly...I must remember this it is so effective! I went to England in 2019 (London, Liverpool, Manchester, Bath, Dover). I had always wanted to go so my husband told me to take our daughter and son and go while I felt like it. It was wonderful! I would love to come to New Zealand the pictures I've seen are amazing! Are you growing tomatoes this year, in fact when is your growing season. My tomatoes are coming along right now but probably won't see anything for another 6 weeks. Smiles, Kathy

Such a beautiful card `Maxine. It is perfect to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III and can be used for anyone to celebrate something with them. Often hard to make a male card, this would be perfect.
