Yes - two posts in a day - That's what happens when you make commitments to design teams - but it is fun!
When I was sent this image to work with I flinched for several reasons. But enough of that, this image (this is one of a set of six) and an adorable new set of a terrier pup, are available at Priscillastyles Store
The image of a bulldog was a challenge to me. I am not a 'dog' person at all, and in New Zealand we have a gang called the Mongrel Mob (enough said) which uses a bulldog as it's insignia... not a pleasant association. But I overcame my prejudices and produced a card to the sketch given.
I started by re-sizing the image, and in one instance, I flipped it as well - another steep learning curve to this senior blonde - and after several arguments with the printer, I got it printed!!
I heated the image with my heat gun to stop any ink run, and then coloured all four images the same, with multi mediums - inks, (sponged on), chalks, and water colour pencils. The image in the largest panel was printed twice, and after colouring the dog, it was trimmed out of the second printed image and glued over the first one - the added dimension does not show much in the photograph, but it really 'pops' in real life.

I then trimmed and mounted the images on black card to 'frame' them before mounting them onto the red base card. Then came the 'bling' requirements. I could have used piercing, but did not remember in time so out came the black rhinestones - thankfully I had exactly the right number.
I could not help but to use the expression Doggone it!! - it was computer generated, cut with a shapability label die, embossed and sponged. The inside of the card will have a comment about where have the years gone...

Maxine I love what you created with this "priscillastyles" image. How clever of you to print the image so many times and cut them the different sizes for the element of the MMSC70 sketch. It looks adorable. I love the effect you achieved. Great job with the image.

Thank you for the inspirational techniques, I will have to give the computer resizing a go, not sure I am up to the flipin part as my blond has turned to white years ago.
The sketch fits the theme of your card to a T, bold.
What a fabulous card! Love the wonderful coloring and the great take on this week's MMSC70. Well Done!!
Your card is wonderful.. I love it. I think it is great how you flipped thie image too.
Maxine would you please upload this wonderful card to CDAC and link your gallery card to the PS group Mr. Linky? (not your blog)
If you want to link your blog you can do that on the PSDT BLOG Mr. Linky :)
Hope that makes sense.
Maxine, what a cute and fun use of Priscilla's digi image. Oh, I love it with that sentiment and isn't it great to be able to re-size them as needed. She will love your showcasing of her image
