Copper Sparkle Plus Texture

Welcome

It's good to be back, albeit I am a day late posting this.
I am still working on the borrowed computer, and this is also causing me some brain strain 😓

For this weeks Word Art Wednesday Challenge I chose to make a card with a masculine twist, so started with a Brusho's background I made a while ago when trying out Brusho SparkleITs.

The photo below shows the sparkle that the copper  SparkleIT gives the red toned background

I added some corrugated with some string across it as an embellishment to the base of the card

The scripture panel was mounted over a S/B Marvelous Square die cut (appears to be discontinued) cut from wallpaper with some shimmer and texture to it.

The background was made on a page from a mixed media journal, hence the notched and torn top edge of the background panel, which I decided to leave for extra interest.

Hi Maxine,
First of all, I love the verse on this card. I really believe in this kind of philo. Your card is stunning and what a swell idea to use a journal page and leave its natural look on. The nestie looks perfect and the twine and corrugated cardboard add that extra charm.

Whenever I use cardboard to mount up my images, I feel so grateful to you.

Love,
Monica

Great verse, wonderful clever card, how blessed we are sis.
I actually have this verse illuminated in frame next to my bed in bedroom... as remembering how God has blessed before encourages us to keep on keeping on.

Oh boy, computers can cause issues, feel for you in it all, Maxine, may Lord undertake. Commenting on mobile hence errors...

Sis, I pray every blessing for you in 2020. I know 2019 has been hard year for you too. What would we do without Jesus?!
Thanks so much for your prayers and encouragement too on WWoL blog.
I so deeply appreciate it. I find each post a struggle. So it means much. Lord be with you precious friend. Thanks for praying for Oz too. Oh we need it.

Thanks for sharing, and may God bless you.
Hugs, Shaz in Oz.x
