I had an anniversary and wasn't sure what to do, then I remembered the couple love Steampunk, so that was my starting point...
I embossed some Kraft card using the Spellbinders 'Cog's 3-D folder, then experimented with a bronze polish - unfortunately it had passed its prime, but still gave a reasonable result.
The sentiment is one of my original stamps, but the font fitted the theme - it was white embossed on black, and a gold edge added. This was mounted on foam dots
I found the image here, on the Graphic's fairy site, printed it and trimmed it, then layered it onto a
die cut layer of gold card
As the card base was wider than the embossing folder, I added a thin strip of gold paper down either side of the card.
The inside of the card had a matching gold strip added.

Wow, this is so lovely with the Victorian feel to it, Maxine! The bronze polish on the embossing gives it a beautiful Vintagy feel. I must keep my eyes open to get this embossing folder, with this card I fell it doesn't only need to be for masculine projects.

Wow, this is an amazing vintage anniversary card Maxine! I love that image, so cool looking, a cool era. Love the texture the embossing gives and love how you put the bronze polish on it, looks like it works nicely even if it was past it's prime. Love the gold touches too, gives a richness to the card. I would say the bronze polish being past it's prime fit the bill perfectly. The image and gold trim also a perfect fit. Refreshing design, perfectly done.

How lucky that you had that embossing folder, it looks great and you would not know you had had problems with the bronze polish - it looks fine. I do like the way you have cut the sentiment so that it fits in nicely with the circle for the main image.
I must look at this Graphic Fairy, never heard of it until a week ago - that is a great imagbe.
