While I was house sitting in August, I played with an assortment of Lindy's Mica Powders, and this was the second 'print' off the original, onto a piece of mixed media paper.
I then used a stencil that I had won from Allsorts Challenge over it
I split this down the middle, and made two cards from it
One I mounted on orange cards stock, and then a wonderful rich cream base
The other I mounted against red card stock. On both cards I embossed the sentiment in gold and mounted it over the coloured base card
Initially the white and yellow ink I used to stencil the flowers was not very clear,
So I added some gold and white metallic rub, and outlined the petals and centre with matching pens to add to the definition
The inside of both cards has a simple strip of washi tape added.

A lovely result Maxine, and such a pretty background colour
I do love a Daisy and these look super onto the muted green background Maxine and so nice to see the stencil has come in useful, many thanks for sharing with us at Allsorts challenge this week.
So beautifully done Maxine. Gorgeous flowers and loving the inky background. I spy some spots there too, thank you so much for including my optional challenge theme at Allsorts challenge of spots and/or stripes. So nice to see you at my Crafty Wednesday challenge too!

Great cards! Such a pretty stencil. Thanks for joining us at Little Red Wagon.
Beautiful cards Maxine, I love that you made 2 cards with your gorgeous background.
how smart to do this on a Paper big enough to make two cards. Your details on the daisy stencil are amazing and bring it to life beautifully. The way you finished each one off with orange and red worked so well with the colors you used in the base piece! Very nice indeed. Thanks for visiting me today. It reminds me to come over and visit you! Our sweet Cairn Terrier of almost 14 years has been diagnosed with cancer. She waxes and wanes right now, but really enjoys many activities and wags her tail at us! So we are committed to giving her the best quality time that she may have left. But it bears on my mind and requires a great deal of work--so I'm not out visiting like I used to do. But just seeing your name somehow is such an encouragement. Thank you so much for being a blog buddy!
Clever, making two cards from one art piece. Very well done. Love it.

Great job of creating two cards from one panel. The outlining of the stenciled images was a good thought. Thanks for joining us at Addicted to Stamps and More! Apologies for the late comment.
Pretty card...I like the colors on this card!
