Welcome
I made this card for a friend who's cat is totally black - needless to say she appreciated it
The image is a Gina K one, and from memory the sentiment came from the same set...
I started by very carefully adhering all the dies in the Memory Box stitched rectangle set together, then embossing the card with the stacked dies ...
Our card stock is measured by the British standard, and the card is slightly longer than the dies, so this gave me a space for the sentiment.
After embossing and stamping the panel, I adhered it to the card front.
The stamping was all done in Memento Tuxedo black ink, the only addition being the black 'pearls'.

I picked Monochrome, Geometric, Stitching, CAS and Birthday

That is just so effective Maxine - I think the embossing makes the black cat just "pop". Another wonderful card - just perfect 🖤

Of course your friend appreciated the card, it's fun, with the embossing making the cat stand out even more. Love it. x
Very pretty Maxine. Clever use of you stacking dies.
Nice card for your friend, like how you embossed the background! Glad you shared your card with us at Allsorts challenge!
What a cute card. I really like the technique you used to make the background. Thanks for sharing with us at PIP Challenges.
The dies give such a beautiful effect! Looks CAS and still all texture; great! Hugs, Gerrina
What a great idea to embossed those nesting dies. It has worked so well Love the CAS design too. That's a great way to use up the space from the A2 dies on A6 card. I always hate those gaps xx
Maxine, this is such a great card! I love that black cat. I had one years ago. His name was Ming Ming. They really are beautiful, and no surprise that she loved this card so much. I love how you used all the dies to create the background. That's such a fun idea that I wouldn't have thought of. And that was perfect that you had just enough room for the sentiment below. I love it when that happens! Thanks so much for sharing you beautiful work with us at Word Art Wednesday!
Absolutely adorable both in design and colours. Brilliantly executed x
A perfect cad for a cat lover. Memento tuxedo black is my pad of choice for stamping, especially if I am adding colour with alcohol inks. otherwise, I somethimes choose Versamark which also gives a good sharp stamp impression.
I like the little cat. Kate x
I LOVE LOVE LOVE your stitched card, Maxine.
