Number it!

Welcome

This card was made for a man who plays a lot of Sudoku...

I started with a print off of some Sudoku games from the internet.  The way the games printed I ended up with a gap between two of the games, but by trimming the printed paper carefully, it meant that I had a spot for the greeting.

The sentiment was embossed in white on a snippet of red cardstock, hand trimmed into a banner shape and then mounted, offset over a scrap of black.
The white layers of the card were sponged with red ink.

I kept the inside simple with a piece of striped washi tape.

What a clever idea Maxie and a super result! Just perfect for a Sudoku fan - I know a few people this would be right for as well.

Sorry it's taken me a while to comment - Dudley took a downward turn and has been quite poorly with what our vet says is gastroenteritis. We still feel it was the tick medication that caused it - toxins are a known cause of gastroenteritis. Thankfully he seem to be properly on the mend having had a jab to stop him being sick plus other meds to be taken daiy including anti-biotics and of course all our attention has been focused on him these past few days.

Hugs

Di xx

Very clever Maxine, especially as it is for a Sudoku person but it would be good for any man. I like the way you have just used the stripes in the inside.
Hugs & Blessings, Neet xx
