Tiled Leaves

Welcome
Be warned - this is a photo heavy post, so I will keep the 'talking' to a minimum 😉
This card was made for a swap within a small Kiwi group of stampers that I belong to, and the theme for that month was to use tiles!

I had borrowed a die from a friend and had cut out these tile like cuts, which was my starting point.

I tapped them over a Delicata Gold Glitz ink pad, then embossed with layers of clear EP.

The branch (from Memory Box) was dabbed on a brown ink pad, and then clear embossed several times too

I had stencilled through a page of die cut 'waste' and rubbed clear perfect pearls over it for some subtle background interest

The tiles were suspended from the branch with some metallic sewing thread

I finished with a magazine freebie sentiment, and a thin off cut of the light green card below the main panel when mounting it onto the deep green base card

I finished the inside with some washi tape

How delicate those tiles look Maxine and so pleased you gave us the close ups to see the sheen on them, really very pretty and would fit in well at our current Allsorts Autumn theme.
