This card was a series of highs and lows, but I am pleased with the eventual outcome
I started with watercolouring the background, using the wet on wet technique, and I was very happy with the outcome, but not after a major OH NO!!
That was because I had no 'low tac' tape to hold the paper down on my work surface... in the end I resorted to clear sellotape/scotch tape. I figured I could trim the image if needed - but as I used the heat gun to dry areas, the tape lifted/pulled away, so that was what I used to remove the panel!! Saved!
Next I stamped the (New Zealand produced) image - this is the result - I did not allow for the watercolour paper texture.
(there are shadows from the curtains that make it look wrinkled)
Out came the trusty marker and fine tipped pens, and with great attention to the stamp itself and another stamped impression, I retrieved the panel....
I then held my breath and cut out the sentiment (a Hero Arts die) from the panel, layered it up, and replaced it and it worked - no 'saves' required, thankfully. The birthday stamp is part of the set.
The inside was finished with the strip of sparkly tape

Oh my goodness... you saved the day with your impressive skills. The image looks fabulous! This card is definitely perfection, Maxine!
So cute
I LOVE watercolours, Maxine, and your card is perfect! You did great job with the black marker on the stamped image. Thank you for the inspiration, my dear friend. Kisses!!!

What a wonderful scene you did! Thanks for sharing on the EAC! Greetings Christin
Great save and the most fabulous masculine card Maxine x.
Your work always inspires me Maxine, this card and the colours are absolutely fabulous. . xx
Maxine: Your card is wonderful! I love the water-colored background for your stamped/filled-in image! Terrific effort!
Stunning Maxine, love watercolour too, my new fav background is watercolour. BTW you use lots of washing so you do have low tack tape. I use it all the time, it’s great, if it’s a grippy one just do it once on your jacket etc before use.
BTW I’ve put in my feedburner post a direct link to your feedburner account... it took me ages to find it, but same link pasted takes it to your account IF Youre signed into your blogger first. Then do other steps on post to find email address.
Very useful .. now saving all legit addy to email posts to, lot of Siam so a lot of time but once done it’s easy peasy.
Thanks for Sharing, God bless and keep you safe, and all those you love, hugs Shaz in Oz.x

Fantastic scene you did. Very adorable. The watercoloured background is really fantastic. I think it´s quite a hard work before you are able to such a background. I also love the silhouette waterman. And the "happy" die is perfect. Thank you very much for joining the current EAC Challenge.
Hugs Uschi
