Fuzzy Wild Daisies

Welcome
Thank you for taking the time to visit.

I would like to give a shout out to my newest follower, a fellow 'Kiwi' , Julie of My Threadbear Life
Do pop over and see her wonderful crafty adventures on her blog

I wanted to use this Wild Daisies Stamp by Picket Fence.  it is a large stamp, much larger than the A4 cards I generally make, so I stamped it 'off the edge' for this card, and heat embossed it with silver onto a piece of card I had pounced onto wet, surplus inks on my work surface

I used a brush to lightly and slightly messily, 'colour' the images

There were a few 'oops' while colouring this, hence the butterfly embellishments... they were punched from glitter tape adhered to card, to match the glitter boarder across the bottom of the card

I also used the same tape inside the card.

I am linking this to:

(Show something hot - mine was heat embossing)

It looks lovely with the silver EP onto the inky background Maxine. I don't use my EP'a as much as I should.

Off the edge is such a good technique. that is a very impressive stamp, I love daisies. I also like the way you have added colour and that soft blue background. Great rescue with the butterflies too xx

Thank you so much for the shout out - so sweet of you. Wishing you a great week ... its a bitterly cold & gloomy day over here today - am thankful for lots of firewood. xx

Wow! I love this artsy card Maxine! That image is so pretty and I love how you stamped it off the edge. The colors are so pretty, you did a great job with getting them where you wanted them. Love how this whole card looks! I love how we can hide boo boo's, one would never know you had an "oopsie" as the butterflies are a great addition to the card! Hugs, Brenda

I say stamping at the edge is PERFECTION dear Maxime! I love the offset style, very classy! And the different colors of the flowers makes it so alive! Hope all is well there in NZ! It's getting warmer and warmer here in Spain so Im sure its very cold out there.

The combination of the embossing and the colouring is so effective, it absolutely shines. I love the addition of the tinyk butterflies and the sentiment stamp is in beautiful script. I love how it uses two different ones.
